I had a brief look at open access articles citing the above mentioned paper since the mentioned article is already 10 years old. However the articles citing the paper mainly targeted either dementia or applications of therapeutic gardens in care settings, whilst I have not seen one targeting older people in general (including aspects such as loneliness) in community-settings.
An aspect worthwhile exploring when screening the systematic reviews.

Here is a 2022 systematic review
A Systematic Review of Horticultural Therapy’s Influence on Chinese Older Adults’ Psychosocial Wellbeing (https://www.webofscience.com/wos/woscc/full-record/WOS:000827503400001)
But it says the article is currently under embargo.

That is fantastic, Kate! Looking forward to the summary. Maybe one of the authors of this document wants to join our group or has suggestions on who might be interested.

We can specify such aspects dynamically, i.e. currently for our team of first contributors. Once local community members and target groups get involved, defining the context setting can be done in a co-creative manner.

As a starting point, I would suggest a third team defining context and exploring some of the guides (see original post of this topic).
