Forest bathing

Topic details

As a starting point, a Research Café was organized on the topic of forest bathing in Bialystok on 20 April with two invited speakers:

• a doctor of psychiatry and

• a creator of kindergartens and forest schools in Bialystok (we were first in Poland with such schools).

Both are researching and putting into practices so-called forest bathing and forest therapy, practices initiated in Japan but increasingly popular also in Europe. We think this is a topic that will attract participants of the Research Café. They will also be able to learn about the JoinUs4Health platform and project.

We hope to generate a list of suggestions and ideas for activities on the platform as a result of the meeting. Platform users can submit additional suggestions regarding this topic. Suggestions, votes and resources can provide a basis for further activities.
